Responding quickly to an emergency is a top
priority for every care facility. However, when patients or residents
are not in their rooms it can be difficult for them to communicate their
emergency. With TeleAlarm’s Wireless NurseCall, the patients/residents
can feel safe anywhere in the facility.
Expandable and configurable to meet almost every
need
As with most nurse call systems, TeleAlarm’s
system utilizes wall mounted alarm transmitters that are activated to
alert caregivers that help is needed. In addition, every patient or
resident may wear a personal wrist alarm button that can be pressed at
any time. When a transmitter is activated, the NurseCall Master unit
receives the call and displays important information about the call on
the master station and, if installed, on other communication devices.
Information including the room/bed number, the date and time of the
call, the type of call placed and the number of calls placed are
displayed on the Master unit so personnel can immediately react to calls
for assistance. The system can also take advantage of other wireless
devices and integrate many wired devices for alarm transmission.
